Disney Parks "Sticky Situation"
Disney Parks came to our team with an exciting brief: launch their innovative new product, MagicBand (MDX) — a wearable wristband that let park guests pay for food, unlock their hotel rooms, and manage their entire Disney experience from one device. They needed a spot that brought the product's promise to life in a way that felt distinctly Disney: fun, family-forward, and a little bit magical. The concept? A mom doing her best to juggle a packed Disney itinerary the old-fashioned way — armed with a small mountain of sticky notes. As the day goes on, the sticky notes multiply, until the entire room is wallpapered in them. Enter MagicBand: with a single wearable, she can manage her whole schedule, payments, and access from her wrist — no sticky notes required. Working end to end on the project alongside Disney Parks' in-house creative team, Yellow Shoes, our team handled everything from concept through final delivery. The tone is comedic and fun, with a relatable everyday-mom premise that made the product benefit land instantly. Every beat was built to highlight just how much simpler — and more magical — a Disney day could be with MagicBand doing the heavy lifting. The result? A successful product launch and a campaign that helped introduce MagicBand to families across the country — turning a piece of wearable tech into a beloved part of the Disney Parks experience.
