GOOGLE “Powerful Women Documentary Series”
Google came to our team with an ambitious and meaningful brief: create a short documentary series celebrating women-owned businesses around the world — brands with powerful origin stories, mission-driven leadership, and a track record of using Google's tools, like Google Ads, to grow and thrive. The result was a four-part series that traveled across continents to spotlight founders whose work is reshaping their industries and their communities. The series features four extraordinary businesses, each anchored by a founder whose story carries weight far beyond her category. Coolhaus opens the series with the trailblazing women who disrupted the ice cream world with purpose, personality, and innovation. Progetto Quid, founded by Anna Fiscale, builds sustainable fashion in Italy while employing women who have survived domestic violence, human trafficking, and vulnerable situations — turning beautiful clothing into a path to dignity and rebuilding. Reaching Out, a silent tea house in Vietnam founded by a husband and wife, employs young deaf women in a society where people with disabilities often face discrimination — creating a serene space where communication happens beyond words. And American Hats LLC, led by the unforgettable Rev. Georgiette Morgan-Thomas, closes the series with a story of heritage and craftsmanship — a Harlem-inspired love of hats reborn through a historic Philadelphia factory. Working across each chapter, our team crafted every film through warm, candid interviews and cinematic visuals tuned to each founder's world — from the colorful energy of Coolhaus to the quiet reverence of Reaching Out, the emotional weight of Progetto Quid, and the stately pride of American Hats. The tone is mission-driven and uplifting throughout, with every craft choice serving the founders and the stories they came to tell. The result? A four-part series for Google that turned a celebration of women-owned businesses into something bigger — a global portrait of purpose, creativity, and the power of small businesses to make a profound cultural impact when built on conviction and supported by the right tools.
